Thank you for your interest in the Cape May County Regular Democratic Organization. We hope that you find our website useful, and that it will help you become more involved in our organization.

Our Democratic Organization wants to make Cape May County a better place to live, work, grow, learn and retire. Right now, our county is heading in the wrong direction. We have a decreasing population in our county. Many are leaving because they cannot afford to live here; others because they believe that our county is losing its charm as a family friendly summer resort. At a time when our county government is enjoying unprecedented surpluses (the result of increased revenues from property taxes), many of our long time residents are feeling as if this is no longer a welcome place.

The only way to change direction is to change leadership. For decades, our county has been run by many of the same people; they govern to stay in control and not for the good of all our residents. We Democrats want real change, institutional change, a county government that will focus on the people who live in Cape May County all year long, attracting good, year around jobs, providing basic services and education for our children and seniors, and protecting our environment. We are hard working people fighting for the hard working families of Cape May County.

Quite simply, we believe that we can do better than they are doing today.
